Flood Gate Protection
Flood Control International’s flood gates are designed for dependable flood protection whilst maximising access availability. We have a unique design that allows flood gates can be designed to operate on a dead level threshold allowing unrestricted vehicle, pedestrian and disabled access. This is a game changer in terms of having full flood resilience whilst maintaining operability in sites.
Lightweight aluminum flood gates are available in widths up to 14.7ft and flood defense heights up to 6.2ft, and our steel flood gates are designed to any size. All flood gates can be automatic and push-button operated if required.
We provide engineering CAD or PDF drawings of all flood gate installations to ensure they integrate correctly with the whole scheme designed.

TAILOR MADE FLOOD GATES
FCI’s specialist engineers design tailor-made flood gates that provide dependable flood protection whilst maximizing access availability. The flood gates can be designed to operate on a dead level threshold allowing unrestricted vehicle, pedestrian and disabled access.
Lightweight aluminum flood gates are available in widths up to 15ft and flood defense heights up to 6ft, and our steel flood gates are designed to any size. All flood gates can be automatic and push-button operated if required.
We make hinged flood gates, pivot flood gates and rolling flood gates in a full range of sizes.
FLOOD GATE Products
Our Lift-Hinge flood gates utilize a unique ‘raise-swing-lower’ mechanism and do not require recessed ground channels, raised ground beams or ramps, making them ideal for vehicle entrances and especially suitable for forklift or wheelchair access.
Designed and built to the same high standards as our lift-hinge flood gates, our swing-hinge flood gate products are ideal for opening where there is a step or ramp. The aluminum construction results in a light and easy to use door that provides full protection.
Flood Control International’s rolling flood gate products are the product of many years of innovative design, enhancements and experience. They are custom-made and can be designed to seal and operate over a dead level threshold. Our largest to date is a span of 40ft wide and a height of 16ft, yet still operable by a single person.
Convenience and rapid operation make our pivot flood gates the ideal flash flood defence or spill containment barrier. They remain out of the way when not required but can be rapidly deployed when needed. They provide permanent flood resilience.
